Armed Response is a Bonus boat (Medium boat in the arcade version of the game) that is featured exclusively in the original Hydro Thunder.
Appearance[]
The boat is based on the military patrol boats that are featured in the Ship Graveyard track, and it is a bit bigger compared to the regular Easy, Medium, and Hard boats. There is a man with a machine gun on a turret at the back of the boat that opens fire in the direction of the nearest passing boat, and runs with lights and sirens blazing.
Hydro Thunder[]
The boat is big, but it can be tossed around a bit, and is in the middle when it comes to speed in and out of boost. The booster deploys underneath the Machine Gun Turret. Overall, it is a novelty boat.
How to use in the arcade game[]
To race as Armed Response in the arcade version of Hydro Thunder, highlight Thresher on the boat select screen, and then quickly push the pilot view button three times.
